Structured Data Checker
Structured data is how a page states what it is in a form engines can act on, and it is also the main attribution signal for AI answer engines. A single syntax error silently voids a whole block. This check parses the JSON-LD on a sample of pages and reports what is declared and what is incomplete.
Results open in the site's full report, which you can share, compare and re-run.
What it checks
- Every schema.org type declared on the homepage
- JSON-LD blocks that fail to parse
- Nodes with no @type or no @context
- Product markup missing name, offers or image
- Article and BlogPosting markup missing headline, datePublished or author
- LocalBusiness markup missing name or address
Frequently asked questions
- Does structured data improve rankings?
- Not directly. It makes a page eligible for rich results and gives answer engines an explicit statement of what the page is and who published it, which is why it carries weight in GEO readiness.
- Is JSON-LD better than microdata?
- It is what Google recommends, and it is easier to keep correct because it lives in one block rather than being woven through the markup.
- Why does my valid markup still not show a rich result?
- Eligibility is not a guarantee. Markup has to be valid, match the visible content, and the engine still decides per query whether to show the enhancement.
- What does the checker not do?
- It checks the required fields for the common types and that the JSON parses. It is not a full schema.org validator and it does not test rich-result eligibility.
