Hotel review analysis
Hotel reviews do not fit a single satisfaction scale. The same guest can like the room and criticise breakfast, praise the location and complain about noise. Hotel review analysis separates those judgements into hospitality's own headings.
Hotel-specific topics
Alongside the general topics — staff, speed, cleanliness, price/value, location, accessibility, payment, safety — sit the ones particular to hotels.
- Room, bed, bathroom, view
- Breakfast and spa
- Noise and Wi-Fi
- Check-in / check-out and transfer
Separating seasonality from a trend
Occupancy rises in summer and so does complaint volume. What matters is the rate, not the count: how many points the positive share moved against the comparison period. The dashboard states the change in points and names the comparison period explicitly.
Comparing branches
You can see several hotels side by side on the same measures. A branch below the minimum sample threshold is left out; putting a rate drawn from eighteen reviews next to one drawn from nine hundred would mislead.
Critical allegations take a separate path
Safety, health, discrimination, payment and personal-data allegations are flagged by separate rules and routed to an administrator. For these, recall is prioritised over precision: over-flagging is preferred to missing one.
Method
Every number on this page comes from the analysis pipeline nalyzed runs over publicly visible Google Maps reviews: normalisation, language detection, personal-data redaction, business-type topic classification and aspect-level sentiment. Results are stored with their evidence quote, sample size and confidence score; a result whose evidence does not appear verbatim in the source review is not published. When collection does not finish, coverage is shown as `partial` and no screen claims that every review was analysed.
